Nice! Piano black everywhere in new stuff is so annoying. Smudges too easy.

The piano black trim is one of the things I dislike on my wife’s van. I swear if you point at it you leave a fingerprint.

It drove me nuts as well, that’s why I changed it.

Off topic, but the key holes in Chrysler products (Grand Caravan, base Cherokees, RAM Classics) are the only traditional keys I like. They’re easy to put in and take out.

I have no idea who decided shiny black plastic looks better than wood grain, but the trend needs to stop.

Very nice I absolutely hate piano black. I don’t even like it on pianos.

Piano black is stupid and I don’t know why it’s especially common in vehicles that are supposed to be family vehicles. How the hell are you going to keep it fingerprint-free when there are kids in the vehicle?

I will say at least they were smart enough to only use it in the front of the vehicle.......

If I did another I would definitely get dedicated vinyl.

This was designed more for doing table tops and such, so it’s a very heavy grade. It took a lot of time and a lot of heat to get it to wrap nicely.

I absolutely love the look of woodgrain in vehicles.

Be it classy or trashy idk, but I prefer it over pretty much any other option.

Adds a bit of warmth, modern car interiors tend to be pretty somber otherwise.

Also houses, I'm trying to figure out an economical way of paneling my smoking room without spending $$$ on actual hardwoods, seems to be some adhesive laminate options out there

Floors or walls?

I know the wood look laminate plank flooring is very good quality without the pricetag.

As far as walls, we’ve used the simple 4x8 wood paneling you can get at Menards with good results.

Walls, I kind of wanted it to look like large continuous sheets of smooth glossy wood with a decent grain.  For the floor, I’m going with either vinyl composition or traditional linoleum.

What about using woodgrain linoleum on the walls?

I don’t see why you couldn’t apply it to the walls?
